Drowned Forest

A view of the RV park at Riverside Park in Victoria, Texas right about the time the river crested on May 29, 2015.  The Guadalupe's main channel is about two thousand feet west of Vine Street, seen at far right. 

The Guadalupe is normally less than a hundred feet from high bank to high bank, but at the 2015 flood's worst point it was 3/4 of a mile wide.

Taken with a DJI Phantom Vision 2 at about 100 yards elevation (the highest the FAA currently allows).
